PS5 4k HDR not supported on Samsung KS8000 TVs
After hooking up the PS5 to my KS8000 TV, I noticed that HDR was off. When I attemp to turn it on, the console is telling me that 4K HDR wasn't supported and that the resolution will be reduced to 1080p if I want to force HDR on.
When I selected "Video Output Information" on the PS5, I do see that the TV was set at 4k and that HDR is "Supported", but it's not. There's also a message rigth below HDR stating that 4k HDR is not supported, which is just really damned confusing.
To add to all of this, I never experieced this problem on the PS4 Pro so I'm not quite sure what might be causing this to happen.
Anyone else running into the same problem? Did anyone find a work around to this problem?
